A Message from the Board | New Interim Library Director Appointment

The Chappaqua Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Carolyn Reznick as interim Library director for the Chappaqua Library.  Carolyn will assume her duties on November 1, 2023 and will serve as director until January 31, 2024 or until a permanent director is secured, whichever is earlier. 

Carolyn is a longtime Chappaqua resident and recently retired as director of the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library in North Salem. Prior to her appointment in North Salem, Carolyn served as a librarian and assistant director at the Chappaqua Library for 15 years.

The Board of Trustees is confident Carolyn’s years of experience and ties to the community will serve the Library well during the transition between directors. We are excited to welcome Carolyn back to the Chappaqua Library.
