Blanche Lazzell: Becoming an American Modernist | Bruce Museum (Connecticut), (Feb 6–April 27, 2025)
This exhibition features 60 paintings and prints which trace the artist’s pioneering approach to abstraction. Her Provincetown work reveals her ingenuity as a printmaker, characterized by flat, simplified forms and a Japanese aesthetic. Her white-line and color woodcuts earned her critical appreciation.
