Effective January 1, 2025 changes coming to the Westchester Library System App.

The current version of the Westchester Library System App will be retired on 1/1/2025 and replaced with a new and improved app mid-January. Your barcode will still be visible on the old app, so please keep it on your device for now. Please use the library catalog to view your account and place holds. 

The Library will be closed on December 24–25. We will reopen at 9:00am on December 26.

Female German Expressionists

Female German Expressionist artists Paula Modersohn-Becker, Gabriele Münter, Marianne von Werefkin, and Käthe Kollwitz stepped out of the shadows of the male dominated art world and their husbands and partners to asserted their artistic independence. Both Modersohn-Becker at Neue Galerie and Kollwitz at the Museum of Modern Art are being celebrated with major exhibitions now on view.
