Peter Newsuler, is the Political Counselor at the US Embassy in Warsaw. He spent the previous seven years in the Middle East, first in Amman as the Cultural affairs Officer at the US Embassy (2017-19) and then in Israel from 2019-23, covering Iranian affairs and counterterrorism, and later served as Deputy Embassy spokesman. Nrisuler joined the US Foreign Service in 2003 and has additionally served in Dubai, North Macedonia, Moscow as well as in the US State Department in DC.
