Effective January 1, 2025 changes coming to the Westchester Library System App.

The current version of the Westchester Library System App will be retired on 1/1/2025 and replaced with a new and improved app mid-January. Your barcode will still be visible on the old app, so please keep it on your device for now. Please use the library catalog to view your account and place holds. 

The Library will be closed on December 24–25. We will reopen at 9:00am on December 26.

Get ready for Pride with a special storytime with our favorite Drag Queen Angel Elektra!

Angel Elektra is coming back to Chappaqua on Tuesday May 21 to do a family storytime at 4 PM. Here is some important information:

  • Space for this storytime is limited, and registration is required. Each registration allows you a maximum "pod" of 6 people (children+adults).
  • Storytime with Angel is geared to children 3-6 but all ages are welcome! 
  • Rainbow & fancy outfits welcomed & encouraged.
  • Registrants who arrive 15 minutes or more after the start time may not be admitted.
  • Storytime with Angel will be in our library theater- bring something soft to sit on!
