About the Author
Michael Alcée, PhD, is a clinical psychologist in Tarrytown, NY, and a mental health educator at the Manhattan School of Music. He is the author of Therapeutic Improvisation: How to Stop Winging It and Own It and The Upside of OCD: Flip the Script to Reclaim Your Life. As a Therapist Alcée was the recipient of the American Psychological Association’s Division 39 Schillinger Memorial Award in 2019. Alcée has been a TEDx speaker and is a regular contributor to Psychology Today, with his work also featured on NPR, The Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, and more.
