Discover the untold stories and lasting contributions of women throughout history. The Center for Women's History showcases approximately 45 objects from the New York Historical Society's own collection to demonstrate how "women's work" is inherently political, defies categorization and is essential to American society.

Visit the NY Historical Society's exhibit "Women's Work," on view July 21, 2023-July 7, 2024. (Watch this video to learn more.)

*Chappaqua library cardholders can visit for free by reserving the library's Museum Pass.
